Welcome, Families!
Thank you for visiting our Parent Corner! This page is designed just for you—to keep you in the loop, share what we’re learning in science, and offer simple ways you can support your child’s curiosity at home. Whether we’re mixing materials or making predictions, your encouragement makes a big difference. I’m so glad we’re learning and growing together!
What Are We Learning?
In our science unit, your child is exploring how different materials interact with water. We're learning to test, observe, and record how things like salt, sugar, and oil mix (or don't mix!) with hot and cold water.

About the Virginia SOLs
๐ What Are the SOLs?
Curious what your child is expected to learn this year?
The Virginia Standards of Learning (SOLs) outline what students should know in each subject and grade. These standards help guide our lessons and learning goals in the classroom.
