I’m proud to say I’m a lifelong Hampton Roads local! I grew up in Norfolk and attended Little Creek Elementary, Azalea Gardens Middle School, and graduated from Lake Taylor High School. Education has always been a big part of my life—both as a student and now as a teacher.

I’ve spent the past 16 years in the classroom, working with amazing students and learning something new every single day. I graduated Cum Laude from Tidewater Community College with an Associate of Science degree in General Studies (Teacher Prep PreK–8), and I’m currently completing my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education at Old Dominion University.

When I’m not in the classroom, you’ll probably find me outside with my family—and maybe a cup of iced coffee in hand!

I live with my husband and our two amazing daughters. We also share our home with a lovable dog and a small flock of chickens who keep things interesting! We love being outdoors, especially in the garden. I grow both flowers and veggies. There’s something magical about getting your hands in the dirt and watching things grow. 🌼πŸ₯•πŸΎ

On weekends, you’ll often find us near the water. One of our favorite places to explore is Chippokes State Park—we love digging in the sand to search for shark teeth! We also like to take our paddle boards out to the lake for some sunshine and splash time. 🌊🦈

Whether I’m gardening, teaching, cleaning, or relaxing—music is always playing, and iced coffee is almost always nearby. πŸŽΆβ˜•οΈ
